Fluoropolymer Coating

Fluoroshield is the latest raw material developed to improve the shortcomings of all current corrosion resistant coatings. It can meet the general requirements of corrosion-resistant coating, more importantly, it can be coated up to 2mm thick, and can pass up to 10,000V pinhole test. It is suitable for almost all chemicals (PH0 ~ 14). Operating temperature from -320°F~500°F (-196°C ~260°C). It can be operated under full vacuum.

Specification:

Fluoroshield is the latest raw material developed to improve the shortcomings of all current corrosion resistant coatings. It can meet the general requirements of corrosion-resistant coating, more importantly, it can be coated up to 2mm thick, and can pass up to 10,000V pinhole test. It is suitable for almost all chemicals (PH0 ~ 14). Operating temperature from -320°F~500°F (-196°C ~260°C). It can be operated under full vacuum.

Requirements for metallic materials:
  1. The material must be able to resist 797°F (425°C) high temperature, the surface must be smooth, no sand hole, no depression, and the metal welding bead must be continuous and complete, also avoid welding with sharp corners. After the completed, the workpiece must to be done PT test to confirm the quality of metal weld.
  2. The value demand of inside angle R and outside angle R: the coating thickness of 1000µm as an example:
The outside angle R: at least 3mmR, the most ideal for the 6mmR.
The inside angle R: at least 9mmR, the most ideal for 12mmR.

  3. Available work size:
The minimum processing diameter of tube cannot be less than 75Ø m/m, the length cannot be more than 150mm L, no packing groove on the flange surface. Due to the different size of the work piece, shape, the application environment, the use of conditions, please contact with Allied Supreme Corp to discuss further details.
Chemical Properties:

Fluoroshield coating uses a fluoropolymer that is resistant to 500°F (260°C) operating temperature and chemical resistance. It is suitable for multi-purpose chemical equipment. It is inert to chemicals, strong acids, strong bases, solvents and organic compounds, except for fluorine, chlorine trifluoride, high-fluoride compounds and molten alkali metals.

Physical Characteristics:
Coating method:

Depending on the customer environment, Fluoroshield coating methods and types are different. Including GSC-C Type (thickness more than 1mm), GSC-M Type (thickness more than 1.5mm) ... etc. At the same time, Allied Supreme Corp. technical team will design the coating method for the actual needs.
