In order to improve the properties of virgin PTFE, especially mechanical properties, fillers (compounds) are added to pure PTFE. Diversified components have specific effects on particular quality characteristics, which depends on the number (percentage) of additional fillers. The added filler improves or changes the characteristics of the material according to the property and the quantity of the filler: Which significantly improve wear resistance, reduce deformation of pressure and thermal expansion, besides some fillers can improve thermal and electrical conductivity.
